'How We Met' Contest

Serendipity. It’s a weird sounding word. But it’s the best way to describe our year…a year where we both found ourselves getting married to the loves of our lives…within one month of each other. Never in a million years could we have predicted how amazing this year would've turned out. So ya…it's a weird word, but serendipity pretty much sums it up.

Of course, as photographers, we immortalize a lot of our memories through photographs, and our own engagements were no different. We were both fortunate enough to photograph each other’s engagement sessions, and in our line of work, capturing those kinds of special moments for newly engaged couples is a great honor. It isn’t just about the scenes, the compositions, the colors or the light…it’s also about the stories behind the photos. Crazy stories. Thrilling stories. Love stories. Your stories.

As you'd imagine, we've heard some really beautiful ‘how we met’ stories over the years, but we know there are a lot more out there, and we want to hear them all! So we decided to create a contest for you to tell us your own amazing love story and enter to win a FREE engagement portrait session at the same time!

Just like our page on Facebook, then send us your entry below or by emailing us at contest@breightonandbasette.com by 12/09/16 with the story of how you and your fiancé met. Then, on 12/12/16 we’ll announce the lucky winner!*

*CONTEST RULES, ELIGIBILITY, TERMS & CONDITIONS: No purchase necessary to enter. One entry per couple (“contestants”). To enter, contestants must (1) add our Breighton & Basette Facebook Business Page to that contestant’s Facebook list of ‘liked’ pages by using Facebook’s official user interface procedures, and (2) send a joint entry email to contest@breightonandbasette.com. Entry must include contestants' full names, at least one return email of us too contact, and the story of how the contestants met, as requested by the contest offer. To enter, each member of the couple must be 18 years or older to enter; a resident of the state of Ohio, United States of America; legally permitted to marry each other; and must be engaged to each other with the intent to marry each other. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on 12/09/16. Winner is selected by us and will be announced on 12/12/16. Winning contestants will be directly notified by us at the email address provided in the contestants’ entry and will have one (1) week from the date of notification to return our contact and claim the prize. Winning contestants will receive one (1) free joint Couple’s Engagement Portrait Session, and a resulting set of digital jpeg images, all designed and created by us to produce what we determine to be images that celebrate and announce the formal intent of the winning-contestants to legally marry each other. Winning-contestants must be available in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area for the Couple’s Engagement Portrait Session within two (2) months of the winning announcement. Dishonesty, misrepresentations and/or falsehoods on the part of any contestant at any point during the contest will exclude that contestant from the contest and from the winnings. We reserve the right to cancel the contest at any time prior to the winner being announced. Void where prohibited.
