Snow is work. When you were a child snow used to mean a day off from school, snowmen, fun, snowball fights, sledding, and...more fun. Now, as an adult, snow means dead car batteries, salting, shoveling, traffic, scraping, and...more shoveling.

But that's the great thing about dogs: they don't really grow up, and they don't have those hassles. So even in something as routine as a short walk in the snow, they can remind you of the simple things you forgot. Yes, you still have responsibilities, and snow can sometimes make those responsibilities harder to fulfill, but snow isn't always a hassle. Sometimes snow is fun. Sometimes snow is play.
